A pristine 2009 Ferrari 430 16M Scuderia Spider is looking for a new home but if you want it, you’ll need to fork out more than you would for a brand new Ferrari 812 Superfast.
The Italian car manufacturer famously introduced the 16M Spider to celebrate its 16th Formula 1 Constructor’s championship. Production was capped at just 499 units worldwide, making it just as rare as the LaFerrari, and it quickly garnered a cult following across the industry and was always bound to be a collector’s item.

This particular 16M Scuderia Spider is being sold by Fusion Luxury Motors in Los Angeles and has an asking price of $408,888. Given how rare this car is, we think someone will snap it up very quickly, even though it is about $70,000 more expensive than a base 812 Superfast ordered straight from the factory.
Of the 499 examples built, approximately 120 reside in the United States. Like the 430 Scuderia Coupe, the 16M Spider is lighter than the standard model thanks to the more liberal use of carbon fiber throughout its construction. The car also features upgraded brake rotors and calipers and has a stiffened chassis to improve handling and all-round performance.
Powering the car is a roaring 4.3-liter naturally-aspirated V8 engine that revs to 8,500 rpm and muscles out 503 hp and 347 lb-ft (470 Nm) of torque, figures virtually identical to the new Porsche 911 GT3 and arguably all the horsepower and torque you could ever need from a street car.
