Description
The exodon tetra, aka the bucktooth tetra is a colorful tetra than can reach sizes up to almost 5 inches. Ignore the name bucktooth tetra as they dont have any actual teeth, though they are predatory.
This tetra will eat anything that fits in their mouth and can be quite aggressive, so while its not an ideal tank-mate for most fish, their aggressive nature and fast speeds make them ideal tank mates for piranhas.
Best kept in shoals of 8 or more.
