Shah Rukh Khan shared unseen BTS pics from the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Devdas. The film completed 19 years of release today (July 12).
Celebrating 19 years of the release of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Devdas, Shah Rukh Khan shared three behind-the-scenes (BTS) from the sets of the film. The photos feature SRK with Madhuri Dixit, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Jackie Shroff. Devdas released on July 12, 2002. Shah Rukh wrote that everything worked out for the film, the only issue was that his dhoti kept falling off.
SHAH RUKH KHAN SHARES BTS PICS FROM DEVDAS SETS
Shah Rukh Khan, who played the titular role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Devdas, penned a note on 19 years of Devdas. He recently celebrated 29 years of the release of Deewana. Sharing a couple of BTS pictures from the sets of Devdas, the actor wrote, "All the late nights, early mornings, problems worked out bcoz of the gorgeous @MadhuriDixit, the stunning Aishwarya,ever cheerful @bindasbhidu, full of life @KirronKherBJP & the whole team slogging under the masterful Bhansali. Only issue-the dhoti kept falling off! Thx for the love (sic)."

WHAT MADHURI SHARED ON 19 YEARS OF DEVDAS
Earlier, Madhuri Dixit also went down memory lane as she shared a BTS picture to mark 19 years of the release of Devdas. The actress wrote a long note remembering the good old days of shooting Devdas and also paid tribute to Dilip Kumar, who played Devdas in the 1955 film of the same name.
Madhuri Dixit wrote, "Reminiscing some great and happy memories from the sets of Devdas. Even 19 years later it all feels so fresh! Thank you Sanjay for sharing these. Will Cherish these forever! Here’s our ode to #DilipKumar, just like #Devdas, you will continue to live on forever! #19YearsOfDevdas (sic)."
Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Devdas was based on Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay’s novel of the same name. The film was premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in 2002. It featured Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit, Jackie Shroff and Kirron Kher in pivotal roles.
